Recently in Kinsale, Lilly CEO David Ricks opened an active ingredient continuous manufacturing facility, which is designed to manufacture the most innovative small molecule medicines that are currently in the company’s development pipeline. The company is also investing in a significant expansion to the biotechnology capacity at the site, which is targeted for completion in 2021.

Our global business solutions centre in Little Island, Co. Cork employs over 400 people providing centralised business services to the company globally, including travel services, financial services and medical information support. The centre is currently expanding operations to include a wide range of innovative new services and is in the process of constructing a new office block that will double the size of its existing footprint.
